Sabre Corp has signed an expanded distribution agreement to bring Hertz Corporation’s full inventory of car rental rates to Sabre-connected agents.
The renewed agreement brings Hertz’ prepay options to the Sabre travel marketplace that were only previously available on Hertz.com.
"Sabre and Hertz have reached a landmark agreement that will maximize retailing opportunities through a mix of digital channels," said Traci Mercer, SVP of hotel, car, cruise and rail at Sabre Travel Network.
"We continue to offer Hertz seamless connectivity to the largest travel agency network, and making full content available will expand their brands’ footprint and enable additional sales opportunities."
Corporate booking tools and OTAs using Sabre technology will now show the complete range of Hertz car rental inventory globally including the Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly brands, along with all available pricing options.
