Singapore Airline’s low cost subsidiary Scoot will begin flying to India next month.
It will start operations to the Indian cities of Chennai, Amritsar and Jaipur.
Chennai and Amritsar flights begin on May 24 with Jaipur launching later in October.
"Scoot is excited to bring our proposition of value travel and service to guests in India – who will soon be able to fly to amazing destinations in our network through the Singapore hub," said Scoot CEO Campbell Wilson.
The Chennai service will run daily while Amritsar and Jaipur services will operate three times a week, the airline said.
With the introduction of the new flights Singapore Airlines will become the biggest international airline group flying within India.
In addition to Singapore Air’s own routes, group affiliates Silkair and Tigerair already operate services to India and domestic airline Vistara is 49% owned by SIA.
