Scotland to allow lateral flow tests
Scotland is aligning with England and Wales by allowing lateral flow tests for people arriving from abroad. Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the change to the rules for day 2 tests. Lateral flow tests are cheaper than current PCR testing at around £20-30.
It is effective from 4am on October 31, for fully vaccinated arrivals to Scotland. People are required to book and pay for a test from a private test supplier and fill out a passenger locator form before arrival.
