Leeds Bradford Airport was closed on Saturday evening due to a security alert.
Police evacuated passengers from the airport and flights were diverted when a suspicious package was found just after 8pm.
The package was destroyed in a controlled explosion by a bomb disposal team.
The airport reopened at around midnight.
West Yorkshire Police said: "The incident is not believed to be malicious or terror-related at this time. Enquiries are ongoing."
On Sunday morning the airport said it was open and fully operational.
