Serious makeover at Sovereign
Royal Caribbean re-launched Sovereign of the Seas this month after a makeover that included bow-to-stern renovations and new entertaining and dining options.
The ship also added 62 individual balconies.
Entertainment is emphasized aboard the ship. The Follies Theatre has been refurbished. And there’s a new Boleros Latin lounge with drink favorites from Brazil, Cuba and Central America.
There’s also a new multi-purpose business complex.
Sovereign of the Seas offers three-and four-night Bahamas itineraries year-round. The ships leave from Port Canaveral, calling at Nassau and CocoCay.
Shore excursions include snorkeling with stingrays, parasailing and kayaking.
Royal Caribbean International is a global cruise company with 19 ships in service; two more ships are under construction.
