Shanghai halts some tourism activities
Shanghai city has moved to limit tourist activities as China keeps faith with its zero-Covid policy. Shanghai detected just three Covid cases according to data from the National Health Commission.
It is just days after China contained the country’s biggest outbreak caused by the Delta variant. Shanghai has banned travel agencies from arranging group trips to other provinces.
In nearby Xuzhou city some subway lines and long-distance bus services have been suspended.
