Edinburgh-based Rabbie’s Small Group Tours has opened a new London office following an increase in international business.
The operator has appointed Chris Coillet to the newly created position of general manager of its London office, in Victoria.
Coillet joins from Flight Centre Travel Group where he worked for 12 years, including two in London.
More recently he was based in New York City overseeing Flight Centre’s international wholesale business.
Rabbie’s was founded in 1993 and named after Scottish poet Robert ‘Rabbie’ Burns.
Its small group touring exposes local life, attractions and showcases stunning scenery across the UK, on luxury mini-coaches with a maximum of 16 guests.
It operates departures from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Dublin and London.
Coillet said: "I’d love to get the message out how Rabbie’s is working with local towns, communities and regional tourist boards to open up more places to UK visitors and also to share the financial success that increased numbers brings to those places."
