Data suggests attempts were made to put out a fire on board EgyptAir flight MS804, according to reports.
Audio from the flight deck voice recorder is in line with data from a repaired black box that confirmed last month there was smoke in the aircraft, Sky News reports.
It is believed there were attempts to put out the fire before the aircraft crashed, killing all 66 people on board, on May 19.
Aviation officials believe the fire was caused by a fault in the plane’s technical systems, rather than sabotage, the report says.
On Monday, a search vessel recovered human remains from the site.
