Snow forecast for next week in Lapland

Newmarket Holidays is keeping a close eye on the weather in Lapland after cancelling day trips this weekend out of Gatwick and East Midlands because of a lack of snow.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the operator phoned customers due to fly this weekend to tell them the trip was cancelled and they would receive a refund.
The operator hopes there will be enough snow for passengers to fly out of Humberside and Cardiff on day trips planned for December 8 and 9.
Marketing director Phil O’Sullivan said: "The weather forecast over the new few days is for snow. We’ve no reason to believe that next weekend will be anything other than operations as normal."
Transun cancelled its first two departures of the winter, offering passengers affected alternative dates at no additional cost, or a full refund, while other operators say they are monitoring the situation.
