Somewhere2stay introduces interactive mapping
Somewhere2stay has launched interactive mapping for 29 of its core destinations.
Using MSN mapping technology, its website now shows satellite images of destinations and resorts, as well as detailed resort and street maps.
By zooming in on the map, agents can see the exact location of hotels, apartments or villas in a particular resort.
Once a specific property has been identified, detailed property information and photos can be selected.
Agents can email the details, print the page for the client, check availability or make a booking.
General Manager Kevin Currie said: “This is a real enhancement for agents in terms of being able to show clients exactly where a specific hotel or apartment or villa is located.
“It is often difficult for agents to find out an exact location of a private villa particularly if in a fairly rural location – now they can show the client on screen where it is.”
