Southwest latest airline requiring all US employees be vaccinated
Southwest Airlines will also mandate vaccinations for all US employees. Like American Airlines, Southwest says, it has little choice but comply as a ‘federal contractor.’ Southwest workers must show proof of vaccination or apply for a medical or religious exemption to remain in employment, the airline said.
Of the major airlines Delta is the last holdout. Last week, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and JetBlue Airways said they would require employees to get vaccinated.
