Spanish authorities are advising against travel to parts of La Palma where wild fires continue to spread.
The fires have caused the death of a 54-year-old park official who was helping to tackle the blaze on the Canary Island.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has updated its advice for Spain, sharing a warning from Spanish authorities to keep away from the area of Jedey and Las Manchas.
More than 1,000 hectares have been destroyed and homes in and around the town of El Paso were evacuated as the fires raged out of control.
Reports have emerged that a German man could have been to blame for starting the wildfire.
The 27-year-old, who lives in a cave on the island, said a fire had quickly started when he was trying to burn used toilet paper after he defecated off of a forest trail in a nature park.
Flights to La Palma are unaffected.
