Unions say talks are set to resume today over staff cuts at British Airways.
The airline had set yesterday (June 30) as the deadline for an agreement to be reached and refused to confirm whether it would be part of talks today.
“We will comment in due course,†said a spokesman.
According to reports by the BBC, BA wants cabin crew to accept a two-year pay freeze and is looking for 3,000 redundancies among crew and administrative staff.
Last week, BA said 800 workers had volunteered to work for free for up to a month, 4,000 employees have agreed to take unpaid leave, and 1,400 have volunteered to work part-time.
The airline said a further 740 overseas workers have also agreed to cost-cutting measures.
Chief executive Willie Walsh has agreed to work unpaid this month. His monthly salary is £61,000.
