Terror arrests made in Sweden

Police in Sweden have arrested three people on suspicion of preparing to commit a terror act.

In a joint statement, police and the country’s security officers, Sapo, said they carried out joint raids on several locations in northern Sweden and Stockholm early this morning.

Three arrests were made and ‘several others’ brought in for questioning.

Sapo said it had been monitoring the suspects as part of its counter-terrorism work.
