Thailand curfew relaxed

The curfew in Thailand has been relaxed to just four hours between midnight and 4am, starting from today.

Since the army took control of the country last week, locals and visitors to the country have been banned from going outside from 10pm until 5am.

The revised curfew hours remain in place until further notice.

Tourism officials said: "This is positive news and allows tourists greater flexibility in the evenings once again."
