Thailand to delay tourism fee launch
Thailand’s THB300 tourism fee looks set be postponed because officials haven’t decided on the most efficient way to collect it.
It was scheduled to start on April 1 for all inbound foreign arrivals. No agreement on payment method has been reached yet and will likely cause a delay of at least two months.
Payment is expected to be handled by airlines but they asked for at least three months to prepare.
