Thomas Cook insists pilot strike won’t affect flights
Thomas Cook says its flights will operate as normal today despite a strike by its pilots.
The 12-hour walk out started at 3am this morning and will finish at 3pm.
It comes after Thomas Cook failed to get a High Court injunction to stop the action, which is over pay.
Union Balpa says this is the first time British pilots have gone on strike since 1974 and that the action was taken reluctantly.
