Tourists killed as duck boat capsizes in Missouri
At least 11 people have died after a duck boat carrying 30 people capsized in a severe storm in Missouri on Thursday evening.
Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader said at least five people are unaccounted for and seven others were injured in Thursday night’s incident on Table Rock Lake near Branson, according to CNN.
It is also reported some of the dead are believed to be children.
Emergency crews said they responded to the incident shortly after 7pm local time on Thursday.
The accident happened during a powerful thunderstorm.
