Travel 2 brand to launch in Australia and US
Travel 2 parent company Stella Travel Services plans to introduce the long haul brand in Australia and the US.
Australia-based Stella aims to establish the Travel 2 name in the country by the end of the year.
The brand expansion in Australia will also be employed in the US as part of the expansion plans by Stella Travel Services.
The company is looking to plug a gap in its mainstream wholesale portfolio in these markets.
Although the Travel 2 brand is not known in Australia and America, the group is confident that the strong proposition and an aggressive sales plan will see it quickly established as one of the main travel trade brands.
Maria Whiteman, managing director of Travel 2 in the UK, said: “As part of a global business, Travel 2 here in the UK has benefitted from the expertise of our colleagues around the world within the Stella Travel Services portfolio.
“The introduction of the Travel 2 brand to entirely new markets, fuelled by its successful performance in the UK, is significant recognition of our achievements.
“In particular, the close partnership relationship between wholesaler and retailer is an area that Stella Travel Services is keen to retain in the new businesses. This is one of a number of significant developments at Travel 2 scheduled over the coming months.â€
