Feedback from The Travel Convention in Barcelona last month found that 92% of delegates thought the event was of value to their business.
A similar proportion of delegates (93%) said that they either would, or may attend the ABTA-organised convention in 2010.
A figure of 83% said they thought the 2009 Convention was either good or very good.
This year’s most popular speakers include Andrew Pierce, assistant editor and political columnist for the Telegraph Media Group, Richard Reeves and John Knell, who conducted the ABTA MBA, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ speakers Mark Hudson and Malcolm Preston, all of whom achieved extremely positive feedback from delegates, ABTA said.
ABTA chief executive Mark Tanzer said: “The Travel Convention is the key event in the travel industry calendar.
“We are constantly assessing it and working hard to maintain the quality and I am delighted at its success over the last few years. We will continue to strive for excellence for our flagship event.”
