Travel and tourism shares endured a difficult day yesterday as London’s main equity indices dropped back. The FTSE 100 index lost 18.8 points to close at 4499.33, while the FTSE 250 fell back 9.7 points to close at 6127.7. There were very few bright spots; perhaps the best performer was Alpha Airports, which gained 1.5p to 90p.
