TTA offer questioned by Advantage

The Travel Trust Association’s recent offer to Worldchoice members has been questioned by Advantage.

TTA is offering Worldchoice agents £2 per share, plus £1 based on criteria and conditions yet to be determined. The offer is intended as an alternative to the current Global and Worldchoice merger currently on the table.

Advantage chairman Steven Freudmann said: “They’ve expressed an interest, but we’re not sure where they are going to get the money from.

“Individual travel agents need to weigh everything up and see what it means for them, but I’m not sure it will go through. We’ll have to wait and see.”
