Two new faces for Royal Caribbean
SYDNEY – Royal Caribbean Cruises has added two senior executives to its Australian team.
Adam Armstrong joins as commercial manager and Peter McCormack as national sales manager.
The appointments come just over two months since the opening of the cruise company’s office in Australia.
Armstrong is responsible for sales, marketing and revenue management within Royal Caribbean. He has almost ten years working in the cruising industry both in Australia and the UK, most recently as market planning manager for Carnival Australia.
National sales manager McCormack will manage a team of sales executives around Australia including conference and incentives personnel.
Before joining Royal Caribbean in Australia, he was sales and marketing director at Explore Holidays, and prior to this in the US at Insight Vacations and Trafalgar Tours.
Royal Caribbean’s Australian branch, which opened in December 2008, supports the commercial and operational efforts in Australia for the company’s three cruise brands: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises.
