The Boulder, Col. based Sustainable Travel International (STI) has released a User’s Guide to Sustainability for travel providers, including tour operators, accommodations and attractions.

STI in the guide attempts to answer how a company can measure its contribution to sustainability in a way that is meaningful to its business.

“We designed the User’s Guide to Sustainability to assist travel companies in implementing sustainable business practices, and help them to progress towards eco-certification,” said Peter D. Krahenbuhl, STI co-founder.

In addition to a glossary of terms, the publication provides practical tips and advice.
