Vietnam Airlines, Garuda boost cooperation
Vietnam Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have signed a new agreement to expand the strategic partnership between the two flag carriers.
The MoU seeks to strengthen and expand cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia for both passenger and cargo traffic.
Both airlines aim to cooperate through joint marketing campaigns, expanding their airline codeshare agreement, and exploring aircraft leasing and ground services collaboration
Le Hong Ha, President and CEO of Vietnam Airlines, said: “This partnership not only strengthens the position of both national carriers but also facilitates the provision of high-quality services for our passengers travelling between Vietnam and Indonesia.”
The strategic partnership is expected to significantly boost tourism in both countries, the airlines say.
