Virgin adds Vegas frequency

Friday, 13 Sep, 2005 0

Virgin Atlantic has added an additional Las Vegas service to give six flights a week from Gatwick.

The airline aims to further increase its frequency up to a daily direct service in the near future.

The new Friday service is operated by a Boeing 747-400 configured with 14 Upper Class, 58 Premium Economy and 379 Economy seats.

Virgin Atlantic chief executive Steve Ridgway said: “Since introducing the first ever direct scheduled service between London and Las Vegas in June 2000 Virgin Atlantic has carried almost 600,000 passengers on the route and we are certain its popularity will continue to grow with both business and leisure passengers.”
