Virgin Vegas hotel will join Curio Collection

The upcoming Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will join Hilton’s Curio Collection.

The hotel officially opens in 2020 once it is rebranded from the current Hard Rock Las Vegas.

It will participate in Hilton’s loyalty program Hilton Honors.

It will be the only Las Vegas hotel in one of Hilton’s collection brands and will be the largest of all, with more than 1,500 rooms.

It will also feature over 110,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

"Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will reflect a new take on what it means to be a Las Vegas hotel," said Mark Nogal, global head of Curio Collection by Hilton.

The hotel closes briefly in early 2020 for renovation as it gets a Virgin makeover.

It reopens with additional food and beverage options including Virgin’s signature Commons Club social and dining space.

The Curio Collection currently has 65 hotels and resorts open globally.
