Wales to allow lateral flow tests
Despite concerns, Wales has ‘reluctantly’ agreed to allow the use of lateral flow tests for vaccinated travellers arriving from a non-red list country.
However the change is effective a week later than England, on 31 October. Currently, vaccinated arrivals are required to take a PCR test on day two. First Minister Mark Drakeford is still opposed to England’s new policy but acknowledged it would be problematic to have a different policy, especially with open land borders.
