Small ship line Windstar Cruises has revealed a first glimpse at upcoming new ship Star Seeker
The 224-guest, brand-new ship debuts in January 2026.
Star Seeker will have 112 suites, with over 100 featuring a full private veranda or floor-to-ceiling infinity window.
The ship will house five dining options, and a full-service spa with a fitness center.
The cruise line’s signature Watersports Platform will be upgraded.
“Guests aboard Star Seeker will experience a sense of tranquility in their suites; they are designed to be an oasis for relaxation,” says Stijn Creupelandt, VP of hotel operations at Windstar Cruises.
Star Seeker features two Horizon Owner’s Suites, a new suite category, which can be combined with adjacent suites for multi-generational families.
These suites have a wrap-around balcony.
The ship has a dozen different accommodation types to choose from, with many offering triple occupancy.
Star Seeker has 72 suites with large verandas where guests can sit outside.
New for Windstar, 30 infinity suites feature a large floor-to-ceiling infinity window that slides down half-way from the top for cool sea breezes.
Star Seeker is currently under construction in Portugal.
The maiden sailing will be a Transatlantic crossing from Malaga to Miami.
After a naming ceremony in Miami Star Seeker will sail its first voyage in the Caribbean.
It will later head up the West Coast for a full season of summer Alaska cruises.
The ship will then sail to Japan and to Southeast Asia.
Windstar will launch another new sister ship, Star Explorer, in December 2026.
