Wizz Air bookings ‘cancelled by system error’
A ‘technical issue’ has affected thousands of Wizz Air customers, but the airline says they should just ignore it.
It is down to a ‘system error,’ Wizz Air said.
The tech issue is affecting its booking system.
Customers have received notifications saying flights were cancelled.
“We are experiencing a technical issue affecting our booking system. As a result, you may notice changes to your booking on the app or website or receive related notifications,” the airline posted on X.
“We kindly ask the customers to disregard these changes, and rest assured that we will update them as soon as the issue is resolved.”
“Our team is working diligently to fix the problem.”
The airline said ‘thousands of bookings’ were impacted.
