Worldspan strikes T2-Global.com deal
Worldspan has forged a long-term travel distribution and e-commerce alliance with new online travel service provider T2-Global.com.
The newly launched T2-Global.com in the US and portals due to go live in 15 other countries this year will all use the GDS’s travel shopping, booking, transaction processing and electronic ticketing services.
Global air fares from airlines worldwide are also being supplied by Worldspan..
T2-Global.com’s US portal was launched in January. Further sites will be introduced to serve travel buyers in Germany, the UK and other European countries, as well as Brazil, the Middle East and Asia.
All portals will feature the advanced internet booking engine technology and support multiple languages and currencies.
The privately-owned company is registered in the UK T2-Global.com with subsidiary operating companies in Hamburg, Germany; Dallas, Texas; Spain; and Dubai.
